Excellence in Amenities
and Facilities

The Club at Ibis may be best known as Florida’s residential golfing mecca, offering one of the best private golf experiences in the state through three Nicklaus family-designed 18-hole courses…The Legend, The Heritage and The Tradition.

Ibis’s newly-renovated and nationally-recognized 20-acre golf practice facility continues this reputation for excellence, featuring raised target greens, Toptracer Range, two golf fitting and practice studios, a covered hitting bay, three short game areas, and professional instruction led by Martin Hall, host of Golf Channel’s popular School of Golf.

There’s far more to the Ibis experience than “just” superior golf, however. Our dedication to active lifestyles also features racquet sports amenities including Har-Tru hydrogrid tennis courts and cushioned Deco Turf tennis and pickleball courts, accented by a viewing deck and patio for family, friends and fans.

For aquatics, exercise and wellness enthusiasts, the expansive CORE is a tropical oasis within our residential retreat, featuring a resort-style aquatic center that spills over with activities and lessons. The popular CORE center is a gathering place for families featuring a two-story fitness complex hosting an impressive number of daily classes, a luxurious and rejuvenating full-service Spa, and casual dining in the adjacent Amici Ristorante.

Ibis’s new authentic Italian restaurant, Amici Ristorante, is located poolside at the CORE. Amici’s light interior is stylish and elegant with indoor, courtyard, or poolside dining available. The service and dining experience have been curated at the highest level, with the help of a full Italian staff, to provide a truly authentic experience. The approach to the menu was easy – delicious food and fresh ingredients prepared masterfully by Chef Francesco. Amici means ‘friends’ in Italian, and this venue is the perfect setting to enjoy a meal with close friends, old and new. Ciao!

Our 120,000-square-foot Clubhouse contains three unique restaurants and other engaging culinary activations:

The Atrium has panoramic views of The Legend Course and provides a picturesque backdrop as the main dining venue in The Clubhouse. Members enjoy elaborate buffets, complete with culinary and carving stations, providing appealing lunches and themed dinners.

The Pub represents the ultimate sports bar with multiple TVs, a full-length bar, and table seating with a delicious pub menu available inside or on the 2,500-square-foot terrace overlooking the Legend Course. Daily Happy Hour makes this the ideal place to have a round with friends after your round on the course.

Panache has been compared to fine dining establishments in Palm Beach and offers Members the distinct pleasure of savoring culinary a la carte cuisine in an exquisite setting without venturing outside of the community. The decor of Panache is comfortable furniture with elegant lines and rich dark wood tones, including a glass-top bar in the relaxing lounge, the perfect place for your favorite cocktail or wine.

The Chef’s Table: Positioned in the kitchen of Panache, the Chef’s Table presents Ibis Members with a rare opportunity: a tableside dinner show and wine tastings for your group as you watch Executive Chef Jerome and his team members create a memorable dining experience.

The Ibis Food Truck (Fork in the Road): This mobile Member favorite provides lunch and snacks to golfers and those looking for a convenient way to order and dine outside, adding service flexibility and providing delicious options for special outdoor occasions or events.

Engagement and Commitment of Membership

The Club at Ibis plays host to not just a range of sports, recreational, culinary and social activities and events — we also foster an environment that encourages community-focused contributions. Members serve on a number of charitable boards, and donate their time and resources to an array of local nonprofit agencies and organizations. We’ve highlighted below two significant organizations.

Philanthropy

 IBIS CHARITIES FOUNDATION

Through the generous support of Members, the Ibis Charities Foundation helps fund a range of local charities, nonprofits, and not-for-profit organizations. These local groups provide food, clothing, housing assistance, medical care, offer counseling and educational programs, and accomplish many other needed services and outreach.

Our popular ‘Weekend of Events’ also activates every aspect of the Club to raise money for local charities. This year, Ibis Charities, in conjunction with Building Homes for Heroes, provided a mortgage-free home to a local veteran.

The Ibis Charities Foundation was selected as the Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation of the Year in 2018 by the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Association of Professional Fundraisers.

A Community with Heart | Ibis Charities Foundation

IBIS FRIENDS OF VETERANS

The Ibis Friends of Veterans (IFOV) was founded by Ibis Members in 2012 with a singular goal of raising funds for local charitable organizations that provide support and services for veterans in need who reside in Palm Beach County. The IFOV was aware that many veterans experience a variety of hardships and challenges as they transition from a structured military life back to civilian life. To date, IFOV has raised over $1,500,000 for local veterans.

Part 5.

Governance and Prudent Fiscal Management

The Club at Ibis is a true destination community with numerous accolades and offers a financially smart value for an impressively comprehensive lifestyle.

Our ongoing attention to responsible fiscal management year over year means The Club at Ibis’s financial stability is well-established. We have earned a sterling reputation within the club industry and in the Palm Beach community at large.

The Club has ZERO debt.

Our solid financial position ensures our ability to sustain the full range of amenities and services our Members enjoy, and confirms Ibis as a place that will be enjoyed for the generations that follow.

As the second largest, private, residential country club in Florida, the Club continues to perform extremely well and has a significant cash flow, allowing it to invest excess cash to fund future projects and amenities and reduce membership costs. The Members are assessment-free.

The nine-Member Board of Directors approve budgets and offer long range planning solutions and the thirteen Committees act as advisors for management and the Board.

It takes a lot of Member volunteers:

  • Directors – 9
  • Board Committees – 100+
  • Sport Committees – 90
  • Ibis Charities – 150+
  • Ibis Clubs and Activities (ICA) – 50+
  • HOA Boards and HOA Committees – 150+

The Ibis Executive Management Team represents:

  • 296 combined years of hospitality industry management experience
  • 26 years of experience per person on average
  • 99 years of corporate-managed country club experience
  • Professional experience at a combined 57 different country clubs

The Club reinvests in itself, updating the golf courses, expanding the facilities and continually enhancing the facilities with little or no cost to the Members. Over the past 7 years the Club has spent $52 million on facility upgrades and new amenities with zero assessment to the Members.

Part 6.

Adapting to Changing Times

The Club at Ibis was founded by innovators who shared a vision of a fully inclusive country club community that feels like a full-time resort. When this vision was realized through 33 distinct neighborhoods united in a 2,000-acre private community, our founders turned to other innovators to lead Ibis and ensure the Club experience stays vital, active, expansive…and evolves with the times.

OUTDOOR FITNESS

Implemented OUTRACE, a state-of-the-art outdoor gym, becoming the first private club in South Florida to do so. The gym has specific drills targeted for golfers and tennis players and is equipped with multiple suspension training for group exercise classes.

Innovative Solutions to
Staffing Shortages

To provide a solution to staff shortages in South Florida, we were the first Club to apply for and receive a Q-1 visa to hire year-round staff.  We recruited in Italy and renovated and rebranded our Bistro into an Italian restaurant: Amici Ristorante. In order to qualify for the Q-1 Visa, we created extensive Italian cultural programming for our Members including Italian language classes, Italian film series, and Italian food and wine events.

For the past four years, Ibis has participated in the Els for Autism Foundation’s supported employment program. We launched the Work Experience (“WE”) Program. This year, an Els staff member won Employee of the Year!

We also added robotic range ball pickers (a first in Florida) to free up outside golf staff.

IBIS TECH: STAY CONNECTED

Ibis makes Members lives easier and more convenient with technology leading the way. Members have extra resources available at their fingertips through the Club’s mobile app and text program! These electronic portals are an easy way to access Club resources, including dining menus, events, wine selections, emergency information, and more.

DIGITAL SIGNAGE

Ibis utilizes a digital signage system with video content, social calendars and social media feeds. They are strategically placed throughout the Club to reach our Members about Club events and notices.

SOCIAL MEDIA

At Ibis, we fully embrace the evolving digital landscape and the growing impact of social media. With our Facebook following exceeding 10,000, we have a full-time, dedicated Social Media Specialist to enhance and oversee our Club’s content. This role is instrumental in keeping our Members engaged and informed about all the exciting events and activities at Ibis, no matter where they are. #LifeatIbis

Looking into the Future

The Club is currently planning for a major Facilities Improvement Project in 2025/26. The Club has 8 acres of buildable land, and we have undergone extensive Member focus groups and surveys to gather the Member’s wish-lists. A larger fitness center, luxurious spa complex, and added tennis and pickleball courts will be addressed during the project. Stay tuned!

Part 7.

Overall Experience

The Club at Ibis membership delivers an exceptional active lifestyle with an authentic, year-round Tier One golf experience on three Nicklaus family-designed courses, a nationally recognized tennis experience and modern CORE aquatics, fitness and wellness center, a lively and comprehensive calendar of activities; and a casually refined and definitely delectable dining and cocktail culture.

We are positioned at the top tier of private clubs in the
Palm Beaches market.

A golf lover’s paradise, Ibis’s newly renovated 20-acre practice facility features raised target greens, Toptracer Range, two golf fitting studios, and three short game areas.

For exercise enthusiasts, the expansive CORE is a lively gathering place for families, consisting of a two-story fitness complex, full-service spa, casual dining in Amici Ristorante, and a resort-style aquatic center with lap pool.

The social scene at Ibis is just as impressive as the recreational offerings. The Ibis Clubs & Activities group has over 41 diverse clubs and performing groups. Members can participate in acting and writing workshops, take art classes, join the Wine Society, perform in musical presentations, play cards, showcase their photography, and sharpen their cooking skills.
